The year so far:
Sessions on Print recycling at Curwen, Gelli plate printing at home, Picasso on Paper exhibition at Royal Academy – I especially enjoyed the 3D work …and then it was Covid lockdown! I made 5 sets of scrubs and renewed my enjoyment of sewing. Artwise I learned how to make Woven BOOKS and recycled some of my prints into gifts and projects.
A lot of thought and effort went into my (unsuccessful this year) entry for Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, which arose out of frustration at the slow political pace on environmental issues. COVID rendered it irrelevant, but meaning is coming back.
I finished off this piece on Women Composers which had been interrupted by Cancer treatment. This will shortly be available as a print.
